Founded on April 7, 2023, MAJ Trading Co., Ltd. is a dynamic international trading company based in South Korea. We specialize in the export of high-quality second-hand goods to Afghanistan and other developing countries—contributing to both sustainability and affordable access to essential products.

In just our first two years of operation (2023–2024), we successfully exported over several thousand tons of Over Issued Newspapers (OINP) and more than 24,000 used bicycles to Afghanistan. Our growing export portfolio also includes used cars, solar panels, office and home chairs, exercise equipment, textiles, and other in-demand items. The total value of goods shipped during this period is in the multi-million dollar range, highlighting our rapid growth and strong market impact.

At MAJ Trading Co., Ltd., our mission is clear: to give a second life to valuable goods while promoting sustainable trade and economic development in emerging markets. By redirecting surplus products from South Korea to regions where they are most needed, we help reduce waste and support resource-limited communities.

Born on January 1, 1984, in Afghanistan, Mohammad Ajmal Abdul Ali is a seasoned entrepreneur and visionary leader with a strong commitment to cross-border trade and sustainable development. With a career rooted in resilience and ambition, Mr. Abdul Ali has become a respected figure in international commerce.

In 2015, he played a pivotal role in establishing Haji Abdul Ali Wa Pesaran Ltd, headquartered in Kabul. Under his strategic guidance as Vice President, the company achieved significant growth in the Afghan market, focusing on trade, logistics, and imports and exports. His efforts not only strengthened the company’s foundation but also opened new opportunities for expansion.

Inspired by the growing demand for affordable, quality second-hand goods in developing regions, Mr. Abdul Ali expanded his vision beyond borders. On April 7, 2023, he founded MAJ Trading Co., Ltd. in South Korea—a global trading hub specializing in the export of used goods such as bicycles, vehicles, chairs, exercise bikes, refrigerators, solar panels, over issued newspapers and more to Afghanistan and other developing countries.

His leadership across both companies reflects a dedication to economic empowerment, sustainable trade, and global cooperation. Today, both MAJ Trading Co., Ltd. and Haji Abdul Ali Wa Pesaran Ltd continue to thrive—serving as a testament to Mr. Abdul Ali’s enduring drive, experience, and commitment to making a meaningful impact through international business.

Meet Our Vice President – Farid Zaman Aryan

Vice President, MAJ Trading Co., Ltd

Farid Zaman is a driven and dynamic leader whose dedication and strategic insight have played a vital role in the growth of MAJ Trading Co., Ltd. Since the company’s founding in April 2023, Farid has been at the heart of its operations, first serving as Coordinator and now as Vice President.

Originally from Afghanistan, Farid brings a unique international perspective to the company’s mission. From April 2023 to March 2024, he worked closely with the company’s leadership to oversee logistics, client relations, and operational planning—helping to lay the foundation for successful exports of used goods like vehicles, bicycles, refrigerators, solar panels, OINP and more to Afghanistan and beyond.

Recognized for his dedication, problem-solving mindset, and collaborative leadership style, Farid was appointed Vice President on January 20, 2025. In this role, he continues to guide the company’s daily operations, strengthen international partnerships, and expand MAJ Trading’s impact in developing markets.

With a deep understanding of both the Korean and Afghan business environments, Farid Zaman is a vital bridge between global opportunity and local need—helping MAJ Trading Co., Ltd. deliver on its mission of sustainable trade and economic empowerment across borders.
